In this example the focus is on Shannon, 42, a busy professional who wants to lose some weight, make better food choices, and get back to the shape they had been before.
They choose to complete the lifestyle health assessment with a priority focus on their diet. This helps them and us understand the highest priority issues and their current situation.
In this case the assessment identifies their waist is significantly larger than their hips and they can achieve a much better body shape with some support.
Their current diet and lifestyle are likely to worsen their size and further impact their future health.

They start on a Basic Support Plan, knowing that they are fairly determined but need some help in terms of how to achieve their goals, with some support.
£47/month
They decide to have an initial 30 minute one-to-one consultation with us. This enables a more in-depth discussion about their assessment, and to understand their context better. It allows a more bespoke plan for them, following the consultation.
We include agreement of how they want to be held accountable for changes to their weight and shape, and understand how they like to learn and make changes.
We also discuss any additional assessments or tests they may want to undergo, in this case, none initially.

We put together a proposed programme of ‘shifts’ to gradually make over time, along with our support. The support is most key in this case, in the earlier weeks and months.
Apart from the relevant introductory material, the most relevant early 'shifts' are chosen based on their situation from the assessment.
In this case, a major focus is on re-addressing balance in their diet and getting hormones under control. This includes making changes to their daily eating window (when they eat), which has gradually increased during adulthood.
From the consultation we agree to do a whole-picture review on a 6 weekly basis (note this is dependent on a person's needs).
However, smaller bi-weekly updates in between, and regular chat where they need help or pointers on anything.
At the major points, they update their original assessment in order to see wider changes.
They decide they want to have an extra 30 minute consultation every two or three months, to help them readjust their plans based on current progress.
As these are optional ad-hoc consultations, they don't affect their ongoing monthly costs.

Each 30-minute one-to-one consultation
During the process, using just the Basic Support Plan they develop their understanding of what healthier diet and life choices are for them, in their situation, and how to practically apply them gradually, to reduce their size.
This not only changes what they eat, but also when and how. They gradually change their tastes and habits slowly over time, so as not to feel ‘restricted’.
Importantly, because the approach isn't based on calorie counting or excluding any food groups, they know they'll be able to sustain their improved lifestyle.
Over seven months, they are able to change their shape and weight sustainably, and then have the option to continue with us on a new goal, or end their membership there.
